Brian Davison
Brief Summary
I learned to play the bugle as a Scout of 12 in 1946 but my education (band-wise) was completed when I joined the Army in 1953.I was a member of the Corps of Drums of the 1st Battalion the Middlesex Regiment eventually as corporal instructor on the fife and bugle. I founded the Band in 1970 with 12 boys, some old bugles and 4 rope- tension drums. I retired from the Band, as Bandmaster in 1987 but still retain a keen interest.
