Recruitment

Q: Where do you practice?
A: Hayesbrook School, Tonbridge. On Saturday mornings from 9:00am until 11:00am and on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

Q: I can't march and don't have an instrument. Can I still join?
A: No problem! Every new member is given full tuition in music and drill by our friendly and experienced Instructors and all instruments are provided.

Q: Is there an age limit on joining?
A: Unfortunately there is, as we can't all stay young forever. You are able to join if you are between the ages of 10 and 20 (inclusive). If you are "slightly" older, can play an instrument and would still like to get involved; then contact Bandmaster Martin Rapley for more information.

Q: Can I join if I don't live in Tonbridge?
A:
Yes! So long as you can get to our practices on time!

Q: I'm not a member of the 17th Tonbridge Scouts. Can I join?
A:
The short answer to that would be "YES!". The slightly longer answer would be: We are now open to all members of the Scout or Guide Associations and just maintain our old name.

Q: I'm not in the Scouts or Guides, will you let me join?
A:
Of course! Just e-mail the Bandmaster.
